Even though the lake was way up (15') and the participation was about the same as last year, there still was several impressive bags of fish weighed in. The team of John Wright and Jack Lewis became the only two-time winner of the tournament with over 19 pounds in five fish, good for $2000. Shane Haslett and Jacob Hartke brought in 5 fish for 15.38 lbs., good for second place, $1260. In third was Doug Williams and John Prather with 5 fish, 14.59 pounds, $1000. With big bass (5.76 pounds, $350) helping them get 4th place ($500) was Joe McClary and Brad Smith with 5 fish weighing 14.29 pounds. Joe and Brad are from the St. Louis area and were fishing their first tournament with us. Thanks to all who gave of their time and effort to help the tournament go smoothly.
