Fishing this weekend?

I am planning on taking a buddy of mine down to Panther Creek on Saturday(depending on weather), jus curious if any of the club members would like to convoy down and fish also. I miss fishing with the club, but hopefully Ill be back. Just let me know on here, Ill check it tomorrow. OH Btw, been whacking some good ones at Clinton including a 19 1/4 smallie. :)

Hey Timmy, how much is the the lake fee for just a day? If its not ridiculous I would love to fish down at Sara than going all the way to Site M.

The gas station before you turn to go to the lake has a 3day sticker for $25 plus the $5 boat ramp fee. I don't think there is a one day permit.

Well my buddy and I went to Panther Creek on Saturday and had a blast. The fish were bitting really well. I probably caught 20+ 3-4lbers on black and blue jigs in 8-10 ft of water. I also had a muskie in the 40+ inch range take my swimbait and ended keeping it. My best 5 would easily go over 20lbs. My buddy on the other was new to fishing and only managed 2 fish and lost 5. The moss on the lake however is gone so no kermit bites. Overall it was really good and arms are pretty tired from catching those fish. We might go back soon before deer season.

Sounds like a great day! Get rained on? Me and Loftis hit Lake Sara and we caught about 20 between us. He handed it to me from the back of my boat:( We thought the rain would help the bite but it didn't pick up any.

Actually no there was no rain, all it did was spit a lil but on the way back it poured on us through Decatur.
